This is Part II of Quilting Foundations. Sign up for Part I on 11/6 to be registered for both days of this 2-day workshop. In this 2 part series, students will learn to construct 4 classic quilt blocks including Checkerboard, Log Cabin, Half Square Triangle, and Curves. This is a great follow up to the Intro to Quilting course. Each block takes you deeper into different styles and techniques in piecing like strip piecing and sewing curves. Additionally, students will level up their abilities by joining the blocks with sashing before making a quilt sandwich, stitching the quilt, and binding the edges. This 2 day patchwork and quilting intensive is a great starting point for budding quilters.
