Machine Service
Our next service dates are Sundays - 4/6 and 6/1. Please drop off your machines for service or repair by the Saturday before the date (4/05 for April 6th). Machines will be ready for pickup on the Tuesday following the service date (4/8 for April).
Keaton Quilts offers full-service repair and maintenance. We repair, clean, oil and adjust BERNINA sewing, overlocker, quilting and embroidery machines. We also perform all your warranty work, when you purchase a BERNINA machine from Keaton Quilts.
BERNINA recommends that you have your machine serviced at least once a year, called a Clean, Oil, and Adjust (COA), to ensure that it stays in its best condition. We service all BERNINA & bernette machines, including embroidery modules and sergers.
When bringing in your machine for service, please bring -
- sewing machine
- foot pedal and power cord
- bobbin case and bobbin
- all purpose foot
- buttonhole foot for computerized machines
- general sewing stitch plate
- embroidery module and hoop for embroidery machines
General service charges are:
$149 basic machines, (mechanical, 3 series)
$169 mid-size, sergers, coverstitch, (4 & 5* series)
$189 large-size, machines with embroidery module (5,7,8 series), (7 & 8 series)
*no embroidery
Please note: General Service charges cover the cleaning, oiling and adjustment of working machines. If your machine is broken or not working properly, further charges may be required if the fix is beyond the scope of what the technician can reasonably perform during the cleaning, oiling and adjusting.
